Director of Global Deployment, Google Health
Michael is a director at Google Health where he has global responsibility for deployment and partner relationships in the healthcare sector.
Michael came most recently from NHS England, where he was the national director for transforming health systems. In this role he was responsible for developing ‘integrating care systems’ across the English NHS that join up primary care and hospitals, mental and physical healthcare, NHS and local government services. Previously Michael was strategy director at NHS England, senior fellow at the Institute for Global Health Innovation, Imperial College London, and an advisor at Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit under Tony Blair. He is currently a policy fellow at the Centre for Science and Policy at the University of Cambridge.
